This month we bring you the little short Dachshund rock stars of the neighborhood,  Archie and Milo .  They are so grateful to have landed with Douglas, who takes exquisite care of them.  Douglas has this to report about his buddies:

Archie, age 9+, (on the left) adopted from the Humane Society,  had had 3 previous owners.  He had some behavioral issues which disappeared once he and Douglas became soul mates.  He loves car rides and takes great joy in family camping trips.

Milo, age 1 1/2, (center photo) is exotic looking with one brown eye and one blue eye.  He is mostly Dachshund with some Pomeranian in the mix - he’s a bit of an imp  - brings pizazz to the home.  He teases Archie and chases him around the house.  He steals socks and shreds them.  Sleeps under the covers and is hard to awaken.  He loves the camping trips too and the hole-digging opportunities of the great outdoors.  Unfortunately, he gets carsick getting “out there”!
