Marty is a “shorgi”….possible cross between a shepherd and a corgi that makes many people smile when they see him.  He was found alone in a WalMart parking lot in Phoenix and rescued by a private group. Dave found him online.  We think that Marty is around 13 years old.  He’s still very energetic and vocal and a very important member of our family.  His favorite snack is raw carrots.  He has a number of nicknames:  Martito, Tito, Tito Puente, Martín.  He loves to sit in the window opening of our front patio and watch the world go by so he is also called Chismoso, a snoopy and gossipy person. He’s currently in post-pandemic remedial training for barking too much, but he is very much loved nonetheless.
