Pet of the Month - June 2023
Name: Gibbs
Age: Approximately 13-14yrs
Weight: 16 pounds - bigger than a lot of small dogs!
Owners: Emily and Shawn
Background: Gibbs was found as a stray in Hudson, New Hampshire. We adopted him from a small rescue in 2013. His ears are crinkled up from hematomas when he was a stray. We chose Gibbs to adopt because when we entered the cat area, he completely ignored us and began eating instead of staying hello. Gibbs has moved all over the US with us and has proven to be a great companion.
Personality: Gibbs is a lot more like a dog than a cat. He is extremely friendly and affectionate, and he even goes on road trips with us. He doesn’t mind new places and he is happy as long as he can cuddle up on a blanket with his humans and little dog brother, Tuber. They are best friends. His other interests are eating, being brushed, and sleeping 22 hours a day. He purrs like a motorboat whenever awake.
Fun fact: Gibbs has arthritis, so he gets PRP injections to heal his joints, just like LeBron and Kobe have. He deserves the star treatment.
