Friends of Lander

On the first and third Saturday of the month (with a one week shift in a couple holiday months), a merry band of volunteers meet at the east plaza at 8:45AM to bag produce that is delivered to residents of Lander Garden, our neighbors on the northwest corner of our shared area. We celebrate their goal of independent living and hope to add to a sense of cohesion within their and our communities. The healthy fresh food is provided by local charities. Everyone is welcome to join in.

PS - we are always in need of recycled paper grocery bags.

These can be dropped off in the box in the alley behind 870 Higos.
